Advanced settings and web site binding are idenical--same machine--same router-- same static ip. I use no_ip ddns and it has alway worked fine for me. Localhosts doesn't work either in V64 either although the hosts file has the correct loopback ip. What is going on here????? Thanks for any help!

All I really wanted to do was to detect if there is a duplicate of MY IP address, not everyone else's IP addresses. In that case, maybe what I can do is setup a logical interface ( eth0:1 ), shutdown the other interface that I wanted to detect duplicate IP, and use send_arp on eth0:1 to detect duplicate IP of eth0?

Duplicate IP address in my network (psf problem)
If OBSD1 is running on the IP address 192.168.100.1 I have observed that if I bring up an alias on OBSD2 with that same IP address, OBSD1 seems to just turn that address off. In other words, OBSD2 comes up fine, although with the occasional ARP/Duplicate IP address error, but functions fine otherwise.
